We're sailboat shopping for our next adventure. Looking for something in the 39-42' range for returning to the West Indies.
We sailed halfway around the world in a Pearson 365. This time we'd like something that allows friends and family to have their own cabin.
I believe boats carry karma and we're looking for one that's been loved, to carry the love forward. That doesn't mean we'd reject a boat that needs work, as long as it's priced accordingly.
We recently sold our beloved trawler in Portland, Oregon to someone we know who will love her as much as we did (just as her prior owner chose us)—someone to take good care of her and go on grand adventures.
We're looking for someone who wants the same for their sailboat.

Galley Wench Tales -- good solar day!
As boaters, we know menace goes well beyond "things that go bump in the night." In fact, during the daytime is oft when we're in the midst of things that catch us unawares. Like this....
Wayne's the kinda guy who's comfortable parking an 80 million dollar plane in a hangar with 8" clearance on each side. Great qualities for a captain!
Dana's working on her sailing skills so she'll offer more than good company and good food -- aka -- "deck fluff. [...] A published freelance writer (including some Cruising World shorts), she's chronicling our travels at www.GalleyWenchTales.com. She likes being a bit naughty in the blog, with Wayne's encouragement.
March 2012 we bought our sailboat in St. Lucia and sailed her back to Florida starting in September 2012; 1600 miles on only 62 gallons of diesel!
December 2013, we traveled down the ICW then to the Florida Keys, then to the Bahamas... and back Jacksonville FL agin to work hurricane [...]
season.
December 2014 we left Jacksonville FL to cruise the South Pacific. We are now, 10,000+ miles later in New Zealand as of November 2015, where we safely spent the cyclone season.
We're now in Fiji, then Vanuatu,New Caledonia, then Oz.
We'd love to hear from you!
