Landfall�.the Canaries

We make landfall! After four days out at sea from Morocco, we reached our final destination, the Canary Islands. Since mid-July, we have traveled approximately 3500 nautical miles to arrive here.
Our introduction to the Canaries has been to the most northeastern of the eight islands, Lanzarote. It is a sunny and beautiful stop for three days before our final destination to Gran Canaria. From there, Dave and I will be heading home for a few weeks in Ventura. For more details of our Lanzarote stay, read Ryan and Wesley's upcoming blog for the "inside" view.
