In a ceremony at the Pasito Blanco La Punta Yacht Club this morning, Victor Mooney became an honorary member of the prestigious facility. He'll fly the flag of the club on the Spirit of Malabo.

Mr. Mooney will now be in deep consultation with his ocean router to pinpoint the most ideal time and day to begin rowing.

"We have undertaken a plethora of tests, some warranted, others just as a precaution. God-willing, the father has heard my petition to cross the Atlantic Ocean", said Mr. Mooney by phone after the ceremony.

Returned to the U.S. Consulate in Las Palmas this morning. Spirit of Malabo will be transported on Friday. We needed a new authorization since the boat is being transported by land. The cost for formalities and special transport is already paid.

Maersk, Marmedsa (Noatum Shipping Agency) and Equatorial Guinea Consulate played a significant role in making this happen. The marina and trucking firm are on standby. Thank- you to all

I arrived today at Pasito Blanco Yacht Club where the Spirit of Malabo will launch from. This is certainly one of the best marinas I saw in a long time.

Long day. Local authorities quickly processed the paperwork for clearance of the Spirit of Malabo rowboat. Just waiting for some adjustments for cost associated with the container being here since December 27. Trying to get some rest in a local hostel.

Once the boat is good to go - I'll put this solar panel on board. We also have two custom seat cushions for my bottom. Oh, that makes me smile. I needed that one.
