The good, the bad and water spouts

June 12th, 2013

01 June 2013
We're still getting ready to go.... Counting food items and listing amounts to buy when we go shopping. I'm so glad I made up that provisioning chart. It's proving that it's worth all the time it took to do it.

Carson's done with making motor brackets and has moved on to reapplying water proofing to the bimini's top. I can't enven begin to tell you how much he hates seagulls... ;) (It took at least a good 30 minutes to scrub the top before he was able to apply the coating after letting it dry.)

It looks like we might be able to "unplug from the dock" this coming Thursday, June 6th. That is, ofcourse, if the weather window holds. We might have to motor awhile as the winds look light but at least we'll be on our way.... Prayers and crossing fingers, please. :)
