The good, the bad and water spouts

June 12th, 2013

03 June 2013
Here we are.... Still waiting for a weather window to "unplug from the dock". Our timeline is really beginning to frustrate us. Waiting is so-o-o hard. It looks like we now have to wait until Saturday, June 8th. The local weather channels are just now saying we're in for a lot of rain and a good breeze!!! There might even be tornados... Gee, thanks fellows...

Last evening the C Dock "crew" gave us a send-off... We might be around for another one next w/e or they might get to celebrate that we're finally gone... We'll miss these crazy folks, for sure. If you need help with "something" or need a "body" to gripe to about "something" these folks will take you in and will care for you. The crew's always changing as "oldies" (read... us) leave and "newbies" come but the attitude has remained the same since we've been here. Great Folks!!!

Holy Hanna, we filled the Carson G II with food and other much needed items this afternoon!!! It took two dock carts to get everything down to the boat and then it took another 20 minutes to unload it all. Unfortunately during this process I pulled two muscles in my back and did a job on my right shoulder. Between the Tiger Balm and heating pad to my back the groceries (non-perishable) are still in bags waiting for me to unload and find "homes" for them. It's very difficult to walk across the salon sole (floor) without tripping over something. Carson can't help me by put them away because I need to know "where"
they're stowed and he isn't "into listing".... I think you get the picture.

Oh, there's always tomorrow.... :)
