Marco Island

11 June 2013
We're still here at Marco Island, Fl. We'll be headed out to Boot Key Harbor City Marina (Marathon) early tomorrow morning. (As soon as it's light enough to see.) Have taken a few days off to #1 get "Burton repaired" and #2 to rest up, clean up, and get ready to head out again.

We will not be sailing to Guatemala, as planned, this year. :( (One of us has fibromyalgia... Guess which one...) Carson wouldn't be able to do it all by himeself, that's for sure, if another "Burton" failure should happen. We haven't given up hope of going to Guatemala; we'll just be going by a different route during the upcoming year. (We'll be Island Hopping our way there....) It'll take us longer but then the idea is to "enjoy the journey" as much as "the destination". :)

Where are we going after Marathon??? Someplace (island) where the water is aqua blue and the breezes blow... (But not too hard!!!)
