30C and lots of sun...
The land purchase marathon continues, with hopes of a closing within a few weeks.... we shall see....
Our pre-booked haul-out date of April 9th turns out to be a national holiday in the Bahamas (Easter Monday) so we'll be hauled out on the 5th, and spend 5 delightful days "on the hard" with a big ladder to enable us to use the marina facilities.... not the best....
We've found a great B&B in Nassau for our overnight stay before our mid-day flight back to the frozen north...
I found a wonderful woodchipper to purchase, several pieces of local art, and I rescued a discarded teak deck chair from the garbage which Louise is using to work on her tan on the front deck...
We're looking forward to a great gardening season in the Ottawa Valley, and have plans to begin the planting of our apple orchard at the farm.
I have been approached by a conservation group in Quebec who want to purchase the sawmill and relocate it.... the adventure of life continues....
Enjoy the wonderful weather!
