The statue of Liberty was awesome and the NYC skyline impressive as we reached Lower New York Bay. Lots of freighter traffic! Lots of fish traps off Sandy Hook! Anchored in Horseshoe Cove in about 10 ft of water. Quiet anchorage and some wake from the ferry out of Atlantic Highlands. Cold 43 degrees. But the quiet was calming after NYC.
