After leaving Little Falls we proceeded through lock 17 and Greg checked to see how the key way was holding and to our dismay it was starting to back out. Greg jerry rigged a temporary fix and wrapped tape around it to help us get to St Johnsville Marina. While there we met the crew from "Elizabeth Ann" from Cobourg. They suggested using a hose clamp for the slipping key way so, we tried that. Greg also purchased some steel key ways as back up. We also had to purchase a second ten day canal pass.
