Last night, Jerry called me back after I told Mom and him our location, and said they would love to come see us if that was ok and they'd be here by noon today. They drove five hours from Lakeland, FL and spent two wonderful days with us. We were welcomed by them to "Almost to Florida" with a treat of fresh Florida strawberries and sweet tangelos. We were able to sit in the cockpit for awhile and visit before it became too chilly! We ate at the Coastal Kitchen, a great restaurant! They even carted me around to the grocery and liquor store. After spending almost six months on the trail south, it was wonderful to see our family!
