Happy Halloween! It is 87 degrees and sunny today! We sure are glad we're here and not in the Northeast getting SNOW!

Everyday for the past 4 days we have emptied the dinghy of water. The dinghy each day had about 8- 10 inches of rain in it! The last 24 hours we received about another 18- 20 inches of rain. The roads around Dockside are flooded.

It's almost like "spring cleaning" as it would be up north. For us the temps and humidity have dropped a little and the breeze has picked up as well. After our summer of cabin fever, holding up in the AC, we are getting the itch to clean her up, check everything that makes the boat "go", and plan the trip to the Bahamas. Hope to head out sometime in the first two weeks of November. I think it will be good to continue the adventure and get our sailing souls back in the game!
