We arrived at Dinner Key Marina, Key Biscayne just before 6pm after a benign gulf stream crossing. We knew we were back in the USA when we were greeted by numerous wave jumping jet skiis, that had no regard for traffic! Had a great fresh red meat dinner(prime rib) and enjoyed a sound sleep!

Arrived at Bimini late afternoon. Uneventful crossing the Great Bahama Banks, a little rolly at anchor, broke the rubber snubber on the anchor snubber line. Not a problem, just not a restful night. Greg saw a freighter about 3am bearing down on us, thankfully we were well lit and he turned away from us. We were not in any shipping channels.

Well, we waited out the first blow here and the second one too. We had over 12 in of rain last Saturday and it rained for 3 days. Drying off, putting things away, getting ready to head to Bimini on Fri & Sat. Hopefully, Gulf Stream crossing on Sunday and arrive in Miami. We also, enjoyed some fresh conch we cleaned.

We arrived in the Berry Islands on Thursday. We spent the first night anchored off Devil's and White Cays. Beautiful spot, then on Friday we arrived at Great Harbour Cay Marina. We went here to wait out the next big blow. It is very protected here and they have concrete docks. Doing more boat chores and daily walks with Newton.

Well, we decided not to go to Georgetown after all, instead we made a u-turn and headed to Nassau for the next big blow. From here, we will make our way back to the states and decide where we want to go from there. We arrived in Nassau last Thursday and plan on departing this Thursday toward the Berry Islands to wait out the next big blow. We are fine and Newton is enjoying some shore time and daily walks. Catching up on some boat chores and laundry. Will update when we can.
