Grey Dove - Adventures in a Heavenly Twins Catamaran
An occasional lighthearted (mostly!) look at life sailing a small catamaran away from home.
Turkish Delight

Grey Dove is still "au Sec" in Rochefort however, during a brief sojourn at our home in Yalikavak, our good friend Onur Ozakturk invited us out for the day for his first time sail in the new boat in his life, an excellent 42' Bavaria. We had a great sail around Bodrum Bay, sailing close to Bitez for a bite of lunch before reaching offshore towards Cos and then back to Kara Ada before returning tired, sun-scorched but happy into Bodrum Marina.
With good company, blue seas, big fish jumping, great scenery and a big powerful boat that really ate up the miles effortlessly it was indeed a Turkish Delight.

Thats one job finished
04/19/2013, Fife not on the boat.

I finally managed to finish the furler...... a thing of beauty and a joy to behold, it cost £30 to make...saving £810! and it is robustly engineered to boot.
