The Bells, The Bells....

One of the nice things about drifting through France is that every village has a church with a belfry that generally chimes hours and half hours. Very pastoral, rarely intrusive, just a gentle reminder of the time.
However , quite often, so does the Mayor's office or the Hotel de Ville, always timed one minute apart from the church........ so you get two lots.
Some villages have another church, of a different persuasion, Huguenot or something, and they like to get in on the act as well, another minute later.......so you get three lots. "Aaaargh...the bells, the bells ".
