Did I mention that plans change FREQUENTLY? With the wind staying pretty brisk yesterday morning, folks were not eager to move and by the time the it settled the tide was too low to get out of the entrance. So our friends were with us one more day and they now are all tuned into Chris Parker hoping that their weather window is still available.
With the extra day I got to make 2 Outrageous some oatmeal raisin cookies for their cross. Okay I should correct that.....THEY won't eat them.....just Paul (he does not share easily). Laurie invited us for dinner and the menu was to be a surprise. It was absolutely amazing. Lobster Etoufffee! Who would not love that? Rice, homemade bread, purple cabbage slaw and red wine finished the dinner. It doesn't get much better.
Having heard the crossing weather they will probably get a move on as they have a window until Wednesday that will get them into South Carolina. I see all dinghies are up so they look ready.
With their departure we will go do a little more investigation of the area as there are pigs nearby and turtles. We will head back south tomorrow and prepare for Dani and Bryans arrival.
