Who are you?

About a decade ago, I started keeping a sailing blog. First for Yanita (previous boat), then for Guapa. Mainly because I enjoy it and partly as a sort of souvenir for the family/crew. I don't really keep a log on the boat - it reminds me too much of all the paperwork that needed doing when I went to sea professionally - so this blog is the sole means to go misty-eyed over years gone by whenever I feel the need. Quite often it the heart of Winter it seems.
Anyway, about a year ago I started tracking this blog through Google Analytics. Some 'strange' results.
A summary:
- Over 3200 hits this year.
- 1516 unique visitors.
- There seems to be a 'hard-core' readership of some forty-odd souls who read every post within 24 hours of it being posted.
- Approx 50% of visitors are from the UK, 25% from the US, 10% from Belgium and the rest from all over the world. Russia, New Zealand, Vietnam, South Africa, Brazil, ... You name it. People from over 90 different countries.
So, this leaves me wondering: Who are you people and how did you find this blog? A quick line in response to this would be nice. And if not, I guess I'll just keep doing what I'm doing.
Have a nice day.
