Lift out

I could do with some good news - and soon.
Just before 10H00 I got a call from Suffolk Yacht Harbour. The boat was in the slings, when would I be there? Ten minutes.
When we arrived, Guapa was indeed high and dry. The offending 'bit of string' still around the prop. Otherwise she looked fine.
Quick word with Chris. How to proceed, etc...
I would - hopefully - clear the prop. Then I would like her lowered so that I could run the engine.
If all went well, we'd make our way back to our mooring.
And for once, things worked out as planned. Clearing the prop took less than a minute. Prop-shaft 'seemed' aligned, though I wasn't too sure about one of the propeller blades. We'd give it a try anyway.
A quickly applied some Y10 to some offending marks around our waterline and anti-fouled the log. That should last a couple of weeks.
Lowered and secured alongside I started the engine. Sprang into life first time. Nothing untoward to note. Under load, maybe a slight vibration at low revs. But not a high revs. Funny that - I've got to keep an eye on that.
For good measure it started to rain - heavily. Once back on our mooring I got hit by a weird and funny feeling. Now that the worst was behind us, I was completely and utterly fed up with the boat. I couldn't wait to get home.
I wasn't going to put up a 'For Sale' sign just yet, but this week-end was going to be a strictly non-boating one. Maybe next week.
