Big Changes and a Summer on the Hard

Life sure does seem to throw some crazy curve balls and adjusting to the changes can be quite challenging. Mike and I had intended on launching the boat by the end of this month, but after Mike sanded a portion of the hull we realized that launching the boat would not be possible. It may have seemed like a setback at first, but after his wise mother calmed us both down- we realized that by having Haicu on the hard until the fall would give us the opportunity to take the time and do the job right. to be continued... (View Post...)

How overworked and scheduled are you?

It seems this blog has been put on the back-burner for quite some time. The title clearly explains the delay of my posting an update. It seems to me that many Americans are just overworked and scheduled, and the irony is that we do this to ourselves most of the time. We both have been working quite a bit and trying to stay focused. I am managing full time work and college, while gearing up for graduation; fitting everything else into my schedule. There have been a few bumps along the way but Mike and are agree that we are handling the stress very well. These days of hard work are fueled by the drive to to achieve our dream. We will slow down, relax and be able to appreciate the important things in life. Again, we enter these challenges with a great sense of optimism. (Continued...)
