Depart Steveston at 1030 after breakfast and 5 hour flight from Ottawa. Wind South 10-15. Arrived in Porlier Pass. Dropped anchor in bay on the north end on Galliano Island. Had lunch and read for about 2 hours. Depart under anchorage under sail. Wind shift to ESE 15-20. Tacked and double-reefed main half way across straight. Tacked again and twice more off Sandheads. Sailed into harbour (again) @ 1830. Lots of boat traffic including 7 other sailboat going up river. Very nice 8 hour trip, great wind and sunny.
