Stayed on boat Saturday night after hockey game. Had Breakfast at the hotel and came back to boat. Vanessa read in sun while I installed the watermaker. Vanessa's mom came down for a visit about noon. Motored out to the fuel dock and back. Vanessa's mom departed and we went back out into the river. Sailed up the river with 5 knots of wind against 2 knots of current. Made it about a half mile up the river just past S19 buoy before wind really died and current overtook boat speed. Drifted back past S19. This was repeated two more time over the next couple hours. Great warm sunny day. Vanessa came up with idea of bringing a Canucks flag down to boat next week if we won the first round. Turned back towards Steveston at 1800. I when back into town and grabbed another bottle of wine while Vanessa made dinner.
