Ah, yes Karl, I had forgot to update the situation of my newly arrived crewmember. (Thanks for the reminder family)
Karl hung around for two days and nights. He eventually moved from the bow rail to the dinghy davits out aft. From the aft davits, he could keep a better eye on the boat, instruments and the other crew member. He left yesterday morning at sunrise, but left his mark. I figure it will take me a couple hours with a boat brush to remove his marks when I get into port.
Interestingly enough, when he left I found to very small flying fish in the cockpit, which may or may not be unrelated.
