Kiwigrip Review

21 November 2015 | Puerto Rico
Richard
After 6 months, we've noticed the following about kiwigrip. We used a 50/50 mixture of gray and white. The color faded. The raised deck surface is a bluer gray than the 6 month old surface. I'm happy with the new faded color, but it did fade.

Kiwigrip does not create a hard abrasive resistant surface. We stored the dinghy on deck during the off season. No wood or metal parts of the dinghy were touching the deck. So, this is rubber on Kiwigrip damage. Thankfully, it is easy to fix, but the new paint will have to fade a little to match the old paint.

Overall we like the feel of Kiwigrip on our feet. The look of it is acceptable for our older boat. We love that it is water based paint. We're going to keep using it.
