Hi! My name is William, I am 10 years old, I am on a boat with my mum and dad and my brother who is 8 years old and my sister who it 6 years old. We have been on our boat for 8 months so far. Our boat is called HIGGINS and she is a Lagoon 440 catamaran.

We are now in Grenada, True Blue Bay. We started our journey in Marmaris, which is in Turkey. Then we sailed through the Greek Islands, Italy, Spain, Gibraltar then to Morocco and then Tenerife and El Hierro then we sailed the big pond called the Atlantic Ocean. We landed in St Lucia. We chilled there for three weeks and whilst we were there we met another Lagoon 440 called Mai Tai. The owners, Gary and Marie helped us fix things on our boat. We also met another boat called Quest, with Lucia and Delphine on board and their dog Fin.

We then sailed up to Martinique because we needed to get some food and food is so much cheaper at Leader Price. We met some other kid boats, Wakataitea, with Enzo and Francesca on board and Swede Dreams with Paco and Luna on board and had fun with them.

Then we went back to St Lucia and then on to Bequia, where we met another kid boat, Delphinus with Lily on board and then we went to Tobago Cays, Union Island, Petit St Vincent, Carriacou and then to Grenada. In Grenada where we met Elliot and Marina on Neptune 2 and Lily on Delphinus again. Grandad John and Liz came out for a week and stayed in the True Blue Bay Hotel and we explored some of the bays and the island.

We have eaten in the Dodgy Dock Restaurant. There is also a bar which sells brilliant smoothies and cocktails. Monday is pizza night, Tuesday is rum tasting and Caribbean night, Wednesday is street food and a band performs, Thursday is cooking class, Friday is a BBQ buffet.

WATCH OUT FOR CANE FROGS they are toxic!

Further north on the island there is an Estate called Belmont Estate which is a plantation where they make chocolate and other yummy things. If you get the guided tour they tell you how they used to make chocolate and you get to taste the chocolate and the hot chocolate and other jellies and sauces they make, such as guava jam and nutmeg jelly. There are also some animals. There is an Amazon Parrot called Rainbow who can talk and says things like ''Rainbow wants a cracker!" I really enjoyed it there.
