Bimini Done

28 March 2013
Jackie
Hello all, finally updating the blog. Be sure to check out the pics in the photo gallery on the right hand side of the
blog. The folder name for the new pics is, Bimini Etc. There are pics there from a party we had on the beach where we
cooked rabbit in what South Africans call a meat pot. Basically it is a stew cooked over and open fire. There is also
a pic of our smallest crew member, his name is Guido and he is from Trinidad. He stole away on our boat and he is an
ellusive little guy, We see him about once a month. The boat that is on the reef was to a dinghy concert we had and
OOPS, he found the reef on his way back into the marina. The boat was completely distroyed.
Chris has finished the new bimini and pics of it are also included. It took a month longer than it should have due to
waiting for supplies and weather.
We have also replaced most of the fittings for the plumbing to the generator and main engine. Some where so corroded
they broke off in Chris' hand as he was taking them apart. Springing leaks with salt water spraying can do that! But
not bad considering the plumbing was done 10 years ago.
By the way, if you would like to see the dinghy concerts we have been going to, just go to you tube and search:
Grenada dinghy concert, there are I believe 11 concerts there.
Life here in Grenada is tough, finding a pot big enought for the lobsters can be a challenge, see pic, a picture is worth
a thousand words, (7lbs).
Next project is to re-bed the stateroom windows, yet again!!! If they still leak after this Chris is going to seal them
with plexiglass. After that we need to find the leak in the pontoon of the dinghy as Chris is having to pump it up
every day.

That is about it for now.
Hope all is well with all of you.
