Still at It!!!

Jackie/ Still hot!
As you all know the deck was painted by the time I did the last blog. Since then we have taken off the window frames and
sanded, etched, primered and painted all of them. We put plastic backs on all the snaps for the window coverings in hopes
to slow down the electolosis and the snaps pulling off. We have also made wood slats for the cockpit to keep the cushions
up off the seats. The entire inside of the boat has also been painted. The stay sail boom and the steering pedastil has
also been sanded, primered and painted with black awl grip.
As of two days ago the bottom of the boat has stopped dripping sea water, repairs have been made and we will start putting
the new barrier coat on tomorrow. If all goes well, meaning it doesn't rain every day, we should have the bottom done
in 10 days and be ready to go back in the water.
I'm not sending pics at this point, I'm waiting for the boat to be done and the shrink wrap to be off.
Chris is still mad at the guy that painted our boat and is going to make a stink before this is all said and done.
We have been pushing ourselves to get things done and could really use a day off but getting back in the water and back
to Grenada is our priority.
Hope all is well with all of you.
Be happy and stay healthy,
Jackie & Chris,
Sailors at Large
