Yesterday Brian and Juliet from Seawings joined us for a tour of Seven Islands with 'Ants, one of the two park rangers. What a treat. Some of the low scrubby islands without coconut palms house thousands of birds. Mostly Frigates, Boobies, Tropic Birds and Terns. Many of them were nesting and there were little chicks everywhere. They were very tame, just like the Galapagos. The species were a bit different than the Galapagos as well. So we got lots of good pictures. After the bird island went to a fantastic snorkeling spot with crystal clear water and lots of tall spires of coral. As always--an amazing variety of underwater life. Following that we had lunch on Seven Island and looked around for large coconut crabs, which made for another lovely dinner.
