We are leaving Fiji today. Right now we are anchored in the Lautoka harbor waiting for customs and immigration to open up after lunch. Our two months here have flown by very quickly. We had intended to only spend about a month here, but we have been having a great time, and have run into a number of friends. Over the last few weeks we have spent our time in Musket Cove, Mana Island, Navadra Island, the Blue Lagoon (one of the spots where the film was filmed), Waya Island, and in Vuda Point Marina.

Fiji continued without fail to be perhaps the friendliest, most pleasant place we have visited. It is tough to leave.

But we expect Vanuatu, our next stop, to challenge Fiji! Vanuatu has been called the happiest country on the plant. And in addition to that, it has some very dramatic geography, including some of the worlds most accessible active volcanos.

We will be sailing first to the southernmost island, Anatom, where we plan to check in. It is 469 miles, and we expect to arrive Sunday morning Local time.
