Start of Day 7 to Indonesia

Arthur
Day 7 begins. We broke the starter pull cable to our generator yesterday. Tried to fix it last night, but it was too dark. So thats todays prinicple project. Also the boat is really squirrelly, we spin out on big waves, which is not normal. We have two good sized wave trains hitting us. Each about 10ft, one set from the east, one from the southeast, so about every 20 minutes we get a really big one. And over all the ride is very squirrelly. Makes taking apart generators a little more tricky. By tuesday, maybe wednesday, we ought to have passed inside of the Great Barrier Reef, so things will hopefully calm down a bit. At least until we pass through the Torres Strait into the Arafura Sea, which is sometimes called the washing machine, due to the really strong currents mixing things up a bit.
In any event, all is well. Our position as of 0100 UTC on Sunday is 14-01S and 151-12e. SOG is 7kts and COG is 270T.
