The day after my show in Cocoa Beach, I was up and off the dock around mid-morning. I proceeded north through the Cape Canaveral area and I was hoping for a really cool fireworks show, courtesy of NASA. They were scheduled to launch a rocket carrying a satellite right when I was in full view of the launch pad.

Unfortunately, there were lots of squalls and high winds in the area and the launch was postponed. Oh well, eventually the rain passed through and I proceeded past the Ponce de Leone inlet and into the Daytona Beach area.

I anchored out here for the night. Here's a picture of the lighthouse at the Ponce de Leone Inlet.
