Waiting for Weather (again)

Mike
Well, just like my previous trip south to Key West, I have arrived in Fort Lauderdale along with some unsettled weaher offshore. There is a system here that has things looking rough and windy on the Atlantic for the next few days at least. Consequently, here I sit.
The few days since I last posted were good however. Becky drove down and spent some time with me in Fort Pierce and Palm Beach. Then, when I arrived here in Fort Lauderdale on Tuesday, it coincided with the Yankee Freedom's annual trip to the boat yard for painting and a bottom job. Consequently, I got to see my friends from the Yankee, including Bob and Tom and Captains Jay, Cory and Rick.
Now its just a matter of trying to use my time constructively while I await a suitable weather window for going offshore to the Keys. I have managed to do some boat jobs and practice the guitar a bit. (I mean how much sports can you watch?!?)
I'll be back in touch soon, hopefully from the Keys!
Meantime, here's a rainbow pic from the harbor at Vero Beach.
