NASA decided to put on a show for those of us visiting the Bahamas this week. They launched the space shuttle just after sunset on Sunday and it made for quite an awesome display in the evening twilight. Even though they're a few hundred miles away, it was quite a spectacle. I can only imagine what it must be like up close. It also amazed me how quickly it got out of sight. Here's my pic of the con-trail. (Sorry, I was a little slow on the draw....)
