Small World....Again

01 June 2009 | Savannah, Georgia
Mike
This morning, I was up and gone at 0700. As Captain Ron says "Dawn comes early on a boat.....happens every morning just about sun up!" I made it all the way to Savannah and the Isle of Hope Marina. A place I highly recommend, by the way.

When I got here, I was met by Melanie from the motor vessel "Slainte." (pronounced "sloncha" an Irish term that basically means "cheers!") Melanie and her husband John were neighbors of mine in Marsh Harbor. In fact, they were basically the social directors of the marina. Melanie heard me on the radio as I approached the marina. How cool is that?

Here is a picture of the sun rising over the same anchorage. I'll admit, it does look a little like the sunset, but believe me I could tell the difference!
