Mike
Note the nice clean water line. I'm posting this, not only to commemorate my effort, but to let you all know that I'm fixin' (if you'll pardon the vernacular) to get under way again. I've enjoyed the four months that I've spent here in Key West but its time to get moving again.

I've made some good friends here and especially amongst my crew mates on the Yankee Freedom. I may very well return here to live again some day.

My plan right now is to head north back to Fort Pierce and have the boat hauled out so that I can repaint the bottom and buff and wax her hull. Part of the reason that she's getting so much bottom growth is because the anti-fouling paint that's on there is nearly two years old.

I'm probably going to hang out in Fort Pierce for a month or so before continuing on north, back to Wrightsvile Beach. Anyway, I will continue to keep you updated on my preparations for departure and will certainly be posting stories of my travels, complete with pictures.
