Annapolis!!

24 September 2008 | Annapolis, MD **Duh**
Mike
When we were on the C & D Canal, we started hearing rumors about approaching bad weather. Each day, the forcast for the latter part of the week got worse. Since we had already planned for Bob's brother Bill to pick him up an Annapolis, we decided to head there right away.

We arrived after a brisk seven-hour trip and got tucked in. I intend to hide out here for several days to wait for the storm systems to pass. (My Mother raised ugly children, not stupid children!)

Hey, if ya gotta get trapped somewhere, why not a cool place like the sailing capital of the US! Lots of cool restaurants and bars and historical sites as well. The first bar we had a drink in was established in 1750!

I promise, I'll take some pics here but I haven't yet.
Here's a picture of an interesting looking "aid to navigation" from the Delaware Bay
