Hope Town

Well...it's been a while since I posted last. For the most part, I've been hanging out here in Marsh Harbor. I had a visitor this week, as Anna flew down here from Chicago. We sailed over to Elbow Cay and visited Hope Town. We toured the famous candy striped light house and spent the night on a mooring ball in the harbor.
When we were coming back to my marina the following day, we saw the big power yacht that shuttles VIP's back and forth from Bakers Bay Resort on Great Guana Cay. They arrived just ahead of us and we didn't really pay much attention to the passengers exiting, as we were busy tying up. We found out later in the day that Robert Downey Jr. was part of the group. Who knew?
From talking to fellow marina residents, I learned that celebrities are frequently shuttled to and from Bakers Bay via this marina, because of the airport in Marsh Harbor. I'm going to have to start paying more attention to that boat!
Here's a picture taken at the top of the light house in Hope Town.
