Pictures: Our son, Hale Jefferson Hynes!
At 3:09pm PST on May 25, 2010, Hale Jefferson Hynes came into the world weighing in at 6 lbs and 14 ounces. He was a bit of a surprise considering he wasn't due until June 8th, so needless to say it was far more interesting of a day than we expected.
Hale was my Grandfather's middle name (and mine) and Jefferson is in honor of Elizabeth's late Father. Family names ruled the day.
Mom and baby are doing great! Hale kept quiet for most of the day but managed to peek around by opening his eyes and even eating a little. So far he has had very little to say other than he wants to register as a Democrat (after all it was nice of Obama to be in SF today), he told us we wimped out by not finishing our sailing trip around the world, he hopes the Tiger's win the World Series for Detroit and that he doesn't like Merlot. He has also been tweeting at the following address if you want to follow:

Sounds like he already plans to be as opinionated as his parents and will be one hell of a crew member! What a great way to end our blog...
Love,
Seth, Elizabeth and Hale

Video: Above you will find our final video from our Honeymoon ocean adventure. Here you'll see us exploring the cities that we dearly missed, catching up with friends (and doctor appointments!) and finally arriving in Sydney in time for the New Year's Eve fireworks over the harbor. Enjoy...

Video: This is Part 1 of our Australia video. We arrived in Bundaburg with the Port 2 Port Rally and immersed ourselves back into modern civilization. We rented a car, checked out the Australia Zoo and enjoyed a quick dose of civilzation. Before long we started our way south toward Brisbane (our first real city since Panama City) and did a little 4x4ing along the way on Fraiser Island.
One thing is for sure, Australia is a fun place. Loads to do and see. We had a great time there.
