Been a few days, been without wifi. Moved around a bit, had a few "adventures".

May 13th, 09 - In the water and she floats!
Well, we splashed today around 2:30 pm. She floats. Some minor hose clamps needed tightening, a seacock needed adjusting but all in all she likes to be on eh water. Tomorrow are the final adjustments of the engine alignment and a run upo on the water to see how se goes.
I spent the day wiring, and some plumbing. Saturdya we put some water in the tanks and found the hot water heater rusted out. We ordered a new one, which arrived three hours before launch. Time was spent running around, getting adapters, hoses and a check valve for the cold water in. The best place in Edgewater for hardware supplies is Edgewater Hardware. It is what an old fashioned hard ware store used to be. They have everything and the prices are super.
The radar works, the VHF radio works and soon I will know if the other instruments work.
She is riding well and looking good. More tomorrow.
