Cleo to nydri
The trip between Preveza and the Lefkas canal turned into the idea time to repair the unexpected malfunction in the port throttle control. The bridge boat Santa Maura swings open on the hour to allow boat traffic in to the canal. Its quite kewl boats collect on both sides of the bridge and then a siren sounds and the bridge swings itself parallel to the east bank the southward traveling boats have right away which in this case was us but there was enough room for boats traveling both directions to pass.
We didnt actually get to anchor in Nydri as it seemed full so we went a little further in to the bay and found a comfy spot near the town of Vlikho.
We have adopted a globe basil named Gizmo from a cruiser that was on his way home seems he doesnt like the summer heat.
