| About: | We started dreaming of sailing around the world about 3 years ago while taking our 25 foot Bayfield around Desolation Sound in BC. We bought our 40 foot Bayfield recently and will take the next 10 years to clean and refurbish the boat for our future around the world sail. Dave is a paramedic and Karen is a nurse and we both have 10 years until 'Freedom 55' or retirement! We named our boat Dakota as an acronym for 'Dave And Karen On Their Adventure'. We figure it will take the 10 years to get her up to a comfortable condition, but in the mean-time we will continue to explore the fabulous coast here in BC. | ||
