Doc Blythe
Well sorry for the delays, I have written 3 previous posts only to have themn be unable to upload. The internet in the Mag Bay / Santa Maria area is almost non exsistant.

We are here in Bahia Santa Maria and the beach is the biggest I have ever seen 11 miles long an dcovered with more sand dollars than I have ever seen, the picture is of the boat name spelkled out in sand dollars about 3-6 inches in diameter. and its about 15 ft long.
We took the kayak to the beach as there is pretty good surf to get through, and the kayak seemed a better idea than the dingy, we made it in only getting a little wet, surfing a wave a little sideways but no tipping over so I will call that a success. paddling out we got pretty wet as paddling over oncoming waves was not as easy. but it was awesome.
We were the only ones there for a couple days but then 2 other boats showed up, we also had 2 airplanes buzz the beach at about 50 ft, we were close enought to exchange waves withe both of them, it was pretty neat, We've never had our own personal flyby before.
We ended up spending 4 days in Bahia Santa Maria and then we moved on to Mag Bay, and thats another story. Santa Maria was awesome we are enjoying the solitude very much , many games of cribbage and a few rounds of scrabble, we wonder how long one can last in the quiet solitude and plan to find out, We have spent no money in a week and have gotten fairly creative with cooking from the food storage ( I am loving it) My body is allready thanking me for the decrease in calories and the increase in activity, I feel great and we have both lost a few pouynds as well. water is still to damn cold to think about swimming yet , but its coming soon.

Have paraphrased 4 journal entries, sorry its short, we are loviing life and will write again soon, the internet might really work in San Carlos. lots of love Doc and DD
