Ok, so I know we have allready been here a couple times, it is just that perfect, this time we were the only boat in the cove for 2 full days. We anchored in 13ft of water and we never even pulled tight on the chain, we just bobbed along around in a slow mosey circle. We went for a long slow 5 hour kayak around the entire cove and hiked up all the various sand dunes and well honestly got sunburnt and worn out by the end of the day. I know SUNSCREEN, yes Ive heard of it. I said at the beginning of the day that from now on shirts were optional, well maybe I should have opted to bring one with me. Lesson learned, at east until next time.
So we are sailing to Isla Espitirtu Santo right now and yes I mean right now, flying full main and full genoa, light 6-7 knt wind, and we are sailing upwind nicely at 4.5 knts. The seas are absolutley flat, the boat is sailing so smooth and silent , this really is absolutely picture pefect sailing today. AND crazy I have great internet 2 miles off the coast, DD is at the helm with a book , while I'm typing. Speaking of that, this is just too damn nice to be sitting inside looking at a computer screen. Remember mom telling us all to go outside and play??? See ya!!!
