Father & Son
Cliff & Brad on board today, I'm down South touring wineries, our daughter's hen's day.
Winds strong & offically should have been cancelled, but boys were happy with their performance, even though at the end of the day result was DNF through problem with finish line.
Saturday 26 November 2011
On board Cliff myself, Brad & Melissa, we did go out but all racing cancelled due to strong winds.
Saturday 3 December 2011
3 short races, our placings 3rd, 3rd & 2nd, which gave us 3rd overall, very happy. Cliff myself, Brad & Melissa all worked hard & well together.

Not available for this one, our daughter Janelle married Friday down south. Looking forward to our next sail.
My 1st JAM race

Saturday 12 November;
My 1st JAM & only myself & Cliff on board. Beautiful day & with light winds, which is exactly what I needed. We had a small headsail & a reef in the main, but Cliff took that out after the 1st race. We planned to stay at the back of the fleet but I seemed to gain more confidence with each race, having a go at steering when Cliff needed me to & I think not doing too badly. We both really had a good time out there & it all went lot better than we thought we would. Looking forward to next one!
Our 1st Twilight

Our 1st Twilight & what a beautiful evening. On board Cliff, Melissa, myself with Greg joining us. Only 3 yachts out there & quite bumby, so we came into the estuary & enjoyed a couple of drinks, some pizza, very pleasant. We had some dolphins playing next to the boat, 2 adults & a young one, what more could we want.
All dressed up & no where to go!

There we were in our new team shirts, all ready for the Blessing of the Fleet, Opening Day Race, & then the 10th Anniversary celebration for the MOSFC, the Blessing & 1st Offical Race were cancelled due to the weather & it was dreadful, 30 knots north wester. We were all disappointed but nothing anyone could do.
Crew would have been Cliff, Brad, Melissa & myself, with Emma onboard just for the Blessing, as we would have just been motoring....but was not to be.
Never mind, looking forward to next week.
