Well, Well, Well

It's been a very stressful and anxious couple of months since getting back to the UK and turning 60.
During our Caribbean sailing season (November to March) I had several episodes of being quite poorly with high fever and peeing blood.
Once back home Mandy and many friends urged me strongly to see the doctor.
This led to two separate areas for further investigation, diabetes and a referral to a hospital consultant for a prostate/GU issue.
The consultant put me on the fast track cancer list and instigated a large number of tests, horrid procedures and a couple biopsies.
We got the final results on Friday…….
No cancer …….But a manageable problem that I will need to stay on top of.
So now it's looking like a bucket of pills a day for prostate, diabetes and probably blood pressure too.
But it's fantastic to now understand why I have been feeling so grotty and grumpy for so very long and to have a plan to get fit and well.
So thank you to those that nagged me and to John our GP and Janine the consultant.
