Yesterday evening I had a welcome visit from David from Moon Song (HR42) he had heard me on the daily Ocean Cruising Club Net 6227 khz and dropped in. We had a single glass of wine each (note very controlled and 1/2 bottle left corked for the next visitor).
The battery packed up on my old faithful De Walt XRP electric drill died completely, whist I was fitting wheels to the transom of the tender. I have a spare, but its probably time for a new drill!
Decks are looking tidy and I have put up both sun awnings - photo to follow.
Back still sore, but hand improving - I still must avoid further damage.
I had an email from cousin Barbie she is planning to spend xmas in the mountains in a a log cabin. I am planning to have the aircon flat out spend it in our rear cabin watching movies!
This morning I have been using the PC connected to the SSB HF radio to program in all the local Radio Net Frequencies - to improve my social life - true networking!
Below decks still a mess - I must tidy before Mandy gets here!
