Another good day

It was a sunny, calm morning when I left Coghlan Anchorage and headed up the long Grenville Channel. I started a couple of hours later than usual, to time the channel's current, which can run strong at a narrow, midway point. My timing worked out well and I had a light current pushing me along most of the day. In the afternoon, some headwinds developed and the sky turned gray, but it didn't rain.
I'm in a small cove that looks a lot bigger now, at high tide, than it will when the tide drops 20 feet tonight and the head tidelands dry out. I positioned myself in deep water but had to set the anchor twice because my first set ended up a bit too close to the shoreline.
There's one other boat in the anchorage, and I noticed that the crew had set a couple of crab traps. Not long after I'd anchored, I was in the cabin and heard an outboard motor approaching. "Want any crabs? I've got a couple of extra." Of course I accepted the gift of two large Dungeness crabs. I cracked them open to clean, then boiled them and ate them both for dinner.
I'm not yet sure about where to go tomorrow. Headwinds are forecast, rising in the afternoon. I'm thinking I'll get an early start, and if the wind is slowing me I'll go to Prince Rupert. If the wind isn't too bad I'll continue on to Dundas Island, which is just south of the American border.
In another couple of days I should have cell service and internet again.
