We said goodbye to our third crewmember, Dan, this morning. He is making his way to San Juan tomorrow and has managed to find accommodation on another boat in exchange for helping the owner with his computer problems! We are hoping to link up with him again when we visit San Juan.
We set off in very light winds and motor-sailed our way around to La Parguera, past some lovely coastline of long beaches, dramatic rocks and a pretty lighthouse. A small village, La Parguera is noted for its offshore coral reefs and we are looking forward to doing some snorkelling.
Annoyingly, we discovered our fresh water pump leaked on the journey and Nic has had to fit a new one. There are also some engine and shaft repairs to do before we move any further.
