Dodged Dorian

26 July 2013 | Marathon Fl
George Warm Sunny Dry
Well it looks at the moment like we dodged the bullet once again with respect to Tropical storms.

Dorian is forecast to dissipate and has shifted enough south not to bother us much. I am guessing we will even miss the rain. :)

With NOAA, Wunderground, and Passage Weather all giving almost instantly updated progress of any weather , being here in hurricane season is less like Russian Roulette and more like a Double Dare stare down. You know it is coming... just a matter of who blinks first. Does the storm veer away to bother someone else or do you make your hurricane prep on the boat and run for cover.... in our case the evacuation location is north of Miami.

This is our second season down here and we have not yet had to leave Ishmael. For that we are thankful.

Might even get away from the dock this weekend!

Life is good.
