more lobster

28 April 2008
Well, we went back out and got more lobster yesterday. 3 all together and one was a really big one. So now the freezer is stocked with conch and lobster for when family comes to visit in June. Hopefully when they come we will be able to go out and get fresh ones, but if not we still can have steak and lobster with conch chowder one night. I need to get a fishing permit in BVI when we are there this time. I have not been putting a line in the water as we move around but I need to start doing that. The Islands are so close and you do not want to cross the line to the BVI side without a permit. The permits are good for a year so I should go ahead and get one. We heard from Andy and Irene and they are now in Salinas P.R. waiting for some wind to head west. We also heard from Julio and Joy and seems like they are having a big reunion as lots of boats they (we) know are there right now all getting ready to head back to the states. Today we will head over to Sopers Hole and plan to stay there for a few weeks until we get our projects rapped up. Or at least close to being done. So the updates will go back to weekly and short as we plan to work most of the time.
