In late June, Anita’s shoulder and my eye healed sufficiently to make a little journey on Karina C.

We continued paddling and we were lucky to find a bit of wind over our left shoulder to push us on our way to Blackberry Point where we made camp on a 10' bluff overlooking Pylades Channel. We were very lucky to get such a lovely spot. We inherited a pretty nice campsite complete with a table and a nice flat spot to lay out our tent.
We met a nice young family who camped on the beach in front of us. They were very quiet and we had another pleasant night.
