Two days to go

16 November 2010 | Newport, R.I.
Mark Pillsbury
It's a gray morning here in Newport, but windless at last. Yesterday at lunch I came down to the boat and found a flury of activity here on the dock. Though I was in a hurry, Chris from North Atlantic Sales was here with his partner, Jay, so we stripped the sails off Jackalope, another chore on the to do list I could check off before I head to Bermuda on Thursday. Hopefully later today or in the morning I can run antifreeze through the engine.

The big worry now? Will we be able to sneak our dinners through customs. A Thanksgiving feast is on the line!
